84 Packs of Stolen Butter Found at School Cook's Home in Polotsk District
A 38-year-old woman who worked as a cook in one of the schools in the Polotsk district will face trial. She is accused of embezzling products from the school canteen, the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported .

According to the investigation, for several months the woman took food from the school for personal use. It is alleged that she deliberately violated the cooking technology and gave students fewer products than prescribed by the norms. This created surpluses, which she took home after work.
During a check, 84 packs of butter were found at her place, as well as cheese, fish fillet, and minced meat. The total damage was estimated at approximately 900 rubles.
The woman was charged with embezzlement or misappropriation of entrusted property. The article provides for a penalty of up to four years of imprisonment.
The case has now been sent to court. Pending consideration, the woman is under a recognizance not to leave.
