The company "LadaGarant", which was previously one of Minsk's major developers, has been declared bankrupt. Minsk Economic Court opened liquidation proceedings on May 5, which are expected to conclude by January 2027, Office Life reports .

Owner of "Lada-Garant" Aliaksei Vahanau
The firm was founded more than 30 years ago by entrepreneur Aliaksei Vahanau. Initially, it was called "Lada OMS-Holding". At one time, companies associated with Vahanau were actively involved in housing construction in Minsk and built quarters on Dziarzhynski Avenue, Shchorsa, Mayakouskaha, Hrushauskaya, Chyhunachnaya streets, and in other districts.
However, not all projects were successful. One of the most well-known — the Novotel Minsk Mayakovskaya hotel complex — was never completed. Later, the unfinished object was transferred to the state and redeveloped into a medical facility. The company "Lada OMS-Engineering", which was involved in this project, went bankrupt in 2024 and was subsequently liquidated.
As of today, "LadaGarant" owes creditors approximately 4.3 million rubles. Meanwhile, the value of its assets is estimated at approximately 1 million rubles. Its property includes funds in accounts, accounts receivable, real estate, energy facilities, as well as shares of TK Bank and Bank BelVEB.
The company also owns an MTZ tractor and a GAZ dump truck, but their actual location is currently unknown. The equipment was transferred to another firm back in 2020.
Aliaksei Vahanau himself has recently been more involved with the automotive industry. Last year, information emerged that the "Unison" plant, with which he was associated, became involved in court cases regarding the possible forced transfer of its property to the state. Representatives of "Lada OMS Techna" also proposed organizing the production of special vehicles for people with disabilities based at "Brestmash".
