In the coming days, Earth could be hit by several magnetic storms at once. According to forecasts from astronomers, the deterioration of the geomagnetic situation will begin as early as May 13, with the strongest activity expected closer to the weekend.

The main concern for scientists is a large coronal hole on the Sun. It is this, according to experts' estimates, that could provoke magnetic storms of G1-G2 level in the period from May 15 to 17. The probability of such a scenario is estimated at approximately 85%.
In addition, earlier manifestations are also possible. Scientists suggest that a cloud of solar plasma, ejected back on May 10, could reach Earth. It is not yet clear whether it will affect the planet: the stream may pass by or only partially affect the magnetosphere.
There is also a third possible risk factor. Active region 4436 on the Sun, which has ejected plasma several times already, is now turning towards Earth. If a new flare occurs there, the impact on the geomagnetic field could be even stronger.
During magnetic storms, weather-sensitive people often complain of headaches, pressure fluctuations, weakness, fatigue, and sleep problems. Doctors advise avoiding overwork, getting more rest, drinking enough water, and closely monitoring one's well-being on such days.
