Reconstructed halls opened in the local palace in Svyatsk near Grodno. The head of the Russian Central Bank was brought to the opening
New halls have been opened for tourists after reconstruction in the palace and park complex "Vyaliki Svyatsk Valovichaw", located near Grodno. The grand opening took place with the participation of the head of the National Bank of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, and the chairperson of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, writes Times.by.

The restoration of the historical complex is carried out with the support and financing of the National Bank of Belarus. The monument of architecture and garden and park art of the XVIII-XIX centuries is gradually regaining its historical appearance.
Students of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts participated in the restoration of frescoes and interiors. Together with professional masters, they restored wall paintings and decorative ornaments.

Today, the complex is already called one of the tourist symbols of Grodno region. Earlier, a hotel, a restaurant, and a brewery were opened here. In the future, they plan to create a museum, restore historical interiors, fill the palace with antique furniture and rare items, and develop a spa complex.

Construction of the palace began in 1779 on the initiative of Jozef Volovich, Marshal of Grodno. The project was developed by the Italian architect Giuseppe Sacco. The architecture of the palace combines features of Baroque, Classicism, and Romanticism. After the death of Jozef Volovich, his son Antoni continued the construction. The palace became the main residence of the famous Volovich family.
