NATO Commander Urges Europe to Boost Support for Ukraine in Response to Russian Hybrid Attacks
Russia is trying to break the will of Europeans in supporting Ukraine, believes Alexus Grinkevich. Increased aid to Kyiv will show Moscow that this strategy is not working.

Alexus Grinkevich, Commander of NATO's Allied Armed Forces in Europe, called on European countries to strengthen support for Ukraine in response to Russian hybrid attacks. He stated this in Warsaw in an interview with Bloomberg.
The discussion concerned violations of NATO countries' airspace, arsons, sabotage, and cyberattacks.
"They are trying to break our common will," Grinkevich said.
He approved the decisions of Denmark and Germany to increase aid to Ukraine after hybrid attacks on their territories.
"These are appropriate countermeasures that demonstrate to Russia that the goals it seeks to achieve are unattainable," the commander stated.
According to Bloomberg, NATO primarily leaves the response to such incidents to individual states. Grinkevich, however, emphasized that he is not afraid to publicly assign responsibility for the attacks to Russia.
He also expressed confidence that political forces criticizing aid to Kyiv will realize the importance of Ukraine for the security of their countries.
In Poland, Grinkevich is also presenting his strategy for a quick victory in the event of a Russian attack on NATO territory. According to him, demonstrating what awaits Russia in case of invasion should deter Moscow. The strategy involves the use of drones and artificial intelligence alongside existing alliance assets, including F-35 fighter jets.
