Russia struck Pavlohrad with an aerial bomb — three dead and dozens wounded

On July 23 at 12:00, Russian troops struck Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine with a guided aerial bomb. According to Oleksandr Hanzha , head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, a food industry enterprise was the target of the attack.

Three people died as a result of the strike. Another 28 were injured, including a two-year-old girl. It is reported that three of the injured are in intensive care in serious condition, doctors are fighting for their lives.

After the aerial bomb hit, a fire broke out at the enterprise.

Mykola Lukashuk, Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, stated that Pavlohrad is effectively becoming a frontline city. According to him, this means less time to react to air threats and increased danger for the civilian population.

This is not the first guided aerial bomb strike on Pavlohrad. On July 20, Russian troops first used such weapons against the city. At that time, a residential building was damaged, two people died, and another 15, including children, were injured.

After the new attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on international partners to increase supplies of missiles for air defense systems, particularly for Patriot complexes, noting that this is necessary for more effective protection of the population from Russian air strikes.
