35 Tons of Sunflower Seeds Burned Down in Svislach District

The fire occurred in the village of Razhki-1 at a grain dryer, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Farmers were drying sunflower seeds. The complex operator, noticing sparks, went outside and discovered that flames were gushing from the upper part of the shaft dryer.

The man shut off the gas supply and the dryer's fans. Meanwhile, a witness reported the incident to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Rescuers extinguished the fire. The fire destroyed 35 tons of sunflower seeds and deformed the metal structure of the grain dryer designed for the technological drying process.
