A museum-apartment is for sale in the center of Minsk. It features antique furniture and large rooms
A spacious four-room apartment in a Stalin-era building on Volodarskogo Street in the center of Minsk has been put up for sale, writes Realt.by. In the listing, this residence is called a museum-apartment, and there is a justification for this. Firstly, the space – almost 100 square meters of area with three-meter ceilings. And secondly, the details. It features antique furniture and decor, preserving history.

The building is a four-story Stalin-era block at Volodarskogo, 18, built from solid red brick in 1953. If you are from Minsk, you have probably walked past this building at some point. The building has a closed green courtyard with parking exclusively for residents and no through traffic. There are only 6 apartments in the entrance – two on each floor.

If you stand facing the building, to the right will be the 'Globus' store. Walking down the street, a few buildings away will be Kirova Street and 'Dinamo' Stadium, and a couple of buildings up – Independence Avenue.
The apartment for sale is on the penultimate floor – the third of four, or if counting residential floors, it's the second. The first floor of the building houses commercial premises.
The total area of this apartment is 96 square meters. The living area accounts for 66 square meters. The rooms range from 14 to 20 square meters, and the kitchen is 14 square meters. The hallway is also quite large – 11 square meters. Here is the layout.

The seller says that every detail here has its own history. For example, in the living room there is a vintage floor lamp in the Hollywood Regency style. Its stand and base are made of natural onyx of a delicate green hue with a clear natural vein pattern. The metal details are artistic brass with patina.
The living room has access to an open balcony with a view of Volodarskogo Street.

Among the antique furniture in other rooms is a console table from France with a green marble top and a hand-carved oak base. In the bedroom, there is a paired set of bedside tables and a mirror in the Empire style from the time of Napoleon I.
Also, vintage brass serving tables from the late 19th century with openwork edges. In addition, classic chairs and armchairs made of solid oak in the Empire style with bronze finials in the form of lion's paws and dark velvet upholstery.

In the kitchen, the appliances include an oven, a gas hob, an extractor hood, a refrigerator, and a microwave oven.

In the combined bathroom, there is a bathtub installed and a washing machine connected.

Such an apartment costs 1,019,661 rubles. The price per square meter is 10,666 rubles.
Or, when converted to foreign currency – 337 thousand dollars and 3,525 dollars per square meter at the NBRB exchange rate on September 29, 2026.
