The Roman Catholic parish of St. Casimir in Brest showed the site for the construction of its church. In the video, the rector announced that the stage of leveling and compacting the site has already been completed. The plot has been prepared for the next stage: laying the foundation, writes the Katolik.life publication.
Responding to a question about the construction timeline, the priest replied that it is not a quick process and currently "the start of construction work is being discussed".
The church is designed for 200 people and will be built in the South-Western microdistrict No. 3.
This is a long-awaited church for Brest Catholics. Its project was presented and public discussions were held back in 2019. It was then reported that a church, an utility block, a Sunday school, and playgrounds were planned to be located on a 0.70 ha plot.
But only now has the parish had the opportunity to begin construction.
