"Thank you, moto-brother!" Slutsk motorcyclist helped Salihorsk ambulance gain time for seriously ill patient
An unusual situation occurred in Salihorsk. Paramedic Uladzislau Neviadomski shared a story on social media about how a caring biker came to the aid of medics, writes esoligorsk.by.
The ambulance was transporting a seriously ill patient. The road at that moment was congested — car traffic was dense, and it was difficult for the vehicle with flashing lights to move forward.
Slutsk motorcyclist Yahor Kasmach came to the rescue. He actively began to help: with gestures and maneuvers, he made it clear to drivers that they needed to clear a lane for the ambulance, explaining that someone's life was at stake.
Thanks to his help, the patient was delivered to the hospital faster.
In his post, the paramedic expressed sincere gratitude to the motorcyclist: "Thank you very much, you became a part of saving this life."
The post quickly spread across social media. Users actively responded to the story.
Most Salihorsk residents agree that such actions deserve respect and remind all drivers of the importance of paying attention to emergency vehicles on the road.
Yahor Kasmach himself later told the SlutskGorod publication that he was riding calmly and saw in his mirrors an ambulance approaching from behind with its flashers on:
"It was about 400-500 meters behind me. And I saw that inadequate drivers were ahead, so I went a little faster than the ambulance to ease its passage."
