Lakeside Park on the shore of Tsnyanka Reservoir is set to be expanded more than 5 times — from the current 7 to an impressive 36 hectares. While residential blocks are actively being built in "Northern Shore," the developer decided to simultaneously extend the promenade zone by the water. Details of the first stage of work were shared with the Domovita.by portal by representatives of "Riverside Development Limited."

The pine forest will be preserved in its original form
The coastal strip of Tsnyanka Reservoir will continue to be landscaped simultaneously with the construction of residential buildings. The area of Lakeside Park will increase from 7 to 36 hectares, so there will be significantly more space for leisurely strolls and outdoor activities. The coastal territory will not be completely redeveloped at once: new recreation areas are planned to be opened in phases.

The main principle guiding the designers is not to harm the existing forest. There are no plans to level the hilly shore or remove trees; on the contrary, tall pines and natural elevation changes will set the tone for the entire new space.

What will be done in the first stage
Works on the shore have been divided into several phases. The first stage will focus on basic amenities for walks and peaceful outdoor recreation. New pedestrian routes will be laid along the reservoir, and public areas with canopies will be installed next to the main paths. In the Belarusian climate, this is practical: under a roof, one can hide from an unexpected summer downpour or the scorching midday sun.
A separate part of the forest will be dedicated to family recreation. Modern children's playgrounds with swings, slides, and play complexes will be set up there. The playgrounds themselves will be surrounded by greenery on all sides, and just a few steps away, relaxation areas for adults will be arranged.

Full-day recreation: when will a shop and food outlets appear
Once the promenade framework and children's locations are ready, the developer will proceed to the second stage. For a 36-hectare park, just benches and swings are clearly not enough. If you come to Tsnyanka for half a day or stroll with the whole family, basic amenities are essential.
Therefore, in the next phase, the new part of the park will open permanent public toilets, a shop where visitors can buy water or a snack, and separate food zones. The idea is simple: to make nature an accessible part of daily life, without forcing people to forgo familiar urban comforts. Gradually, the diverse sections will come together to form one large park, which will grow alongside the residential blocks of "Northern Shore."
