10-year-old daughter of ex-minister Chernetsky lands a significant role in a Russian TV series
While Ruslan Chernetsky was trying himself in the role of Minister of Culture, his young daughter was building a film career. And successfully: a Russian TV series was released a few days ago, in which 10-year-old Arina plays a major role.

The series starring Arina, "Granddaughter on Demand" (Унучка да запатрабавання), was released on the Russian channel "Domashny". In it, Arina plays the daughter of a single mother. That mother is sent to a pre-trial detention center due to a museum theft she actually didn't commit. Arina's character tries to find her father to save her, but first meets her rich grandfather — he didn't even know he had a granddaughter.
Arina has been acting in films since she was three, but the role in "Granddaughter on Demand" is one of her first major ones. The girl's resume already includes work in 15 projects. "Belarusfilm" is also preparing a film with Arina — they are shooting the teenage film "19.91" based on Andrei Fedorenko's work "The Afghan Casket".
Arina has someone to learn acting from. Her father Ruslan Chernetsky has been acting in theater since the 2000s — currently at the Maxim Gorky Theater in Minsk, and he has also appeared in films. In late 2024, Chernetsky, then a deputy, was appointed Minister of Culture, and in April 2026, Chernetsky was dismissed from his post.
