"Hero of Belarus who died in Bakhmut." A film dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Miroslav Lazouski has been released.
The film premiered on July 27 — on Independence Day of Belarus, for which Miroslav Lazouski fought all his life.

"Belarus — in the heart, in thoughts, in deeds. All life. Such was the case with Miroslav Lazouski. Until his last breath, which occurred on May 16, 2023, near Bakhmut. But General Mouse, as his brothers-in-arms called him, found himself there to defend not only Ukraine but also the future of a free Belarus.
Miroslav Lazouski's contribution to the Belarusian national movement is immense. He was one of the founders of the "White Legion". We still have to comprehend the scale of his personality.
Lazouski will forever remain a model leader, a moral authority, and a symbol of resistance," says the film's preface.
The film premiered on July 27, on Independence Day of Belarus, for which Miroslav Lazouski fought all his life. Miroslav turned 50 on July 10; he just barely didn't live to see this date.
The film was made by the "Alliance of Belarusian Investigators" team.
