"Franak, relationships between people can be built on more than just manipulation." Prokopyev responded to Bespalov. And Vecherko
Sergei Bespalov, the former press secretary of Sergei Tikhanovsky, published a post in which he said that he had finally fallen out with Tikhanovsky and was disappointed in him. «For him, only one person is good — Prokopiev,» Bespalov claims. Vadim Prokopiev commented on the situation for Nasha Niva. He explained how he sees Tikhanovsky's future, and unexpectedly addressed Franak Viachorka.

Prakopyeu explains his efforts regarding Tsikhanouskaya: «My logic is as follows: the fate of Belarus depends on geopolitics. Our war is part of a world war. And, despite the fact that the rules of the new world order are only being written, it is already obvious that they will be written in Washington.
The Belarusian democratic movement needs its own person in the United States. It wouldn't hurt us if this person were of Republican persuasion. It would help us a lot if this person were a well-known figure. If such a person has charm and charisma and is not afraid to speak from the stage — we are very lucky. But if the life story of such a person resembles a political thriller — this will arouse keen interest among Americans, and our influence in the United States will grow,» he says.
Of course, such a person needs to be able to do many things, he should understand the nuances of the American political process and American etiquette, Prakopyeu adds. He needs good English. He must be armed with a realistic strategy. In addition, he must be able to attract funding within the Belarusian community, not depend on American financial aid, and avoid conflicts of interest.
«Sergei Tikhanovsky, in addition to his heroic biography, is also a serial entrepreneur. He is not afraid to be left without grants. He is interested in how politics works in the United States. And he learns quickly.
Language proficiency is a crucial task. Sergei had time in solitary confinement. There was not enough food there, but there were books. Among them was Mueller's dictionary. Thanks to this, he developed a solid passive vocabulary; all that remains is to develop conversational skills.
The regime will not like it very much if we have a voice in the United States. This is my position, and I understand that others may think differently,» says Prakopyeu.
He adds that he read a post by Sergei Bespalov, Sergei's former press secretary.
«And here's what I think. The accusations that I am manipulating Sergei betray the mindset of the real author of this post. But I assure you, Franak, that relationships between people can be built not only on manipulation — and I sincerely recommend that you try it sometime,» Vadzim Prakopyeu concludes unexpectedly.
