A new Japanese ambassador has arrived in Belarus.

On December 1, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Belarus, Kazuhiro Kuno.

“The parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of Belarusian-Japanese relations. Sergei Lukashevich congratulated the appointed Ambassador of Japan on the start of his diplomatic mission in Belarus and wished him successful work,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus reports.
