"This isn't the first time the Belarusian regime has made up stories." Lithuania commented on the drone incident in Grodno.
Belarus accuses Lithuania of violating its airspace due to a drone that crashed in Grodno on November 30, after allegedly scattering white-red-white flags. Lithuania calls this a fabricated story, writes LRT.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry called this incident a "deliberate provocation" and summoned the chargé d'affaires of Lithuania, Erikas Vylkanetsas. Minsk demands that Lithuania provide detailed information, conduct an investigation, and take measures to prevent this from happening again.
In Lithuania, Darius Buta, a representative of the National Crisis Management Center, did not comment on whether a violation of airspace had actually occurred, but noted that
"The Belarusian regime is not the first to invent stories and accuse Western countries and Lithuania."
According to him, the real problem is the threat to aviation and society from contraband balloons that fly from the territory of Belarus.
At the same time, Lithuanian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Kristina Belikova said that they only learned about the summoning of the Lithuanian diplomat from the media. According to her, the diplomat received an official invitation only an hour after the messages appeared in the public space.
Lithuania regards the actions of the Belarusian regime as an attempt to conceal its harmful activities and calls on Minsk to cease hybrid attacks against EU countries, properly control its territory and airspace, and return illegally seized property to Lithuanian citizens and companies.
