Drug Network Busted in Gomel: From a 41-Year-Old Stencil Artist to a Schoolboy Dealer
The Investigative Committee has completed the investigation into a group of individuals who were operating an online store for the sale of psychotropic substances.

The main defendant was a 41-year-old Gomel resident who had previously been repeatedly convicted. When he didn't have enough money for another dose, the drug market offered him a job as a stencil artist. In exchange for free drugs, the man painted the city with contacts of the drug shop. He defaced dozens of objects: building facades, bus stops, fences, and transformer substations. In May, when the stencil artist came to pick up the promised stash, the police detained him.
The investigation led to those who had left the stash for him. The detainees turned out to be very young people: an 11th-grade student from one of Gomel's schools and a third-year student of a local college.
The teenagers were tempted by "easy money" and became stash placers. It was they who made the last stash, which led to the capture of the 41-year-old defendant.
Another 36-year-old buyer was also detained.
Currently, all four defendants in the case are in custody. They face lengthy prison sentences.
