76-year-old PhD in Biology convicted under multiple political articles
Valentina Logvin worked for over 40 years at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. The Sich Ukrainian Cultural Center, which she headed, was liquidated.

The Minsk City Court handed down a verdict to 76-year-old Valentina Logvin. The experienced specialist in sports physiology was convicted under three political articles:
- Part 1, Art. 130 — inciting hostility
- Part 1, Art. 368 — insulting Lukashenka
- Parts 1 and 2, Art. 361-4 — facilitating extremist activity.
Valentina Logvin received a sentence of restricted liberty with residence requirements. The exact term is unknown.
Valentina Logvin was born in 1949 in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine. She graduated from Kyiv State University (1972) and completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Physiology of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1982). She earned her Candidate of Biological Sciences degree (1986). Since 1976, she worked as a lecturer at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.
Valentina headed the Sich Ukrainian Cultural Center in Minsk, which was liquidated in 2023. At the time of its closure, it had about 20 members.
