The number of people killed in a cafe and hotel in the occupied part of the Kherson region has increased to 27, the Investigative Committee of Russia stated.
Among the dead are two minors. In addition, 31 people were hospitalized with injuries.
The «governor»-collaborator Vladimir Saldo stated that the AFU struck Khorly during New Year's celebrations.
The General Staff of the AFU denies the strike.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law and strike exclusively at military targets of the enemy, objects of the fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation and other legitimate targets, aiming to reduce the military potential of the aggressor country,” — stated General Staff speaker Dmytro Lykhovy.
