It was reported on Threads that the Pinsk—Minsk train got stuck near Dzyarzhynsk at night. There was no heating on the entire journey, people were very cold and asked for help
They asked for hot food to be delivered and to meet the passengers, who arrived in Minsk late, at the Minsk railway station.
"Minsk! The Pinsk—Minsk train is currently stopped in Dzyarzhynsk. Everyone is very cold, without heating, now they will proceed with a locomotive. Please meet people at the Minsk railway station with hot food and in cars," wrote one of the users.
"We are on the Pinsk—Minsk high-speed train. Today it is not high-speed at all due to the weather. We left at 18:40, should have arrived in Minsk at 22:39. It's now 00:25, the train has been standing near Dzyarzhynsk for an hour already, waiting for a locomotive to pull us. They said to wait another 30 minutes. Before that, there were also several long stops of 20-30 minutes. There is no heating or hot drinks on the train the whole way, and the sockets don't work. Everyone is very cold and very tired," another passenger reported.
After this, people on social networks began to mobilize.
"How are things now? Many people can't leave? Respond. If so, I'll come. Warming up the car will take about 30 minutes. I can drive towards Uruchcha, Zialony Luh, Tsna, Peramozhtsau. Are you at the station? Are there many people there? Is it worth going, or will I arrive and no one will be there?" one girl wrote.
Then she added: "I'm getting dressed already, if anything, I'll just drive around evening Minsk."
"Maybe someone is going to "Spartyunaya" — write to me, let's go together," another user wrote.
"If anyone is meeting and going to Malinauka — please respond, give my wife a ride, she's there, she'll pay. There won't be enough taxis for everyone," noted user Ulad.
One of the girls wrote: "Girls who gave my mom a ride to Hrushauka, thank you very much! Mom stayed at the station because public transport was no longer running, and it was impossible to call a taxi due to high demand. Two girls gave my mom and other people a ride, and then drove people to Barauliany. They didn't take any money! Mom was carrying a pineapple with her — they accepted at least that as a thank you. Girls, thank you for your kindness and big heart! I hope you read this. May you meet people as kind as yourselves on your journey."
Another one recounted that people responded to the call on social networks and helped her mother, who was on that train: "There was no heating on the train, we arrived deep into the night several hours late. Public transport was no longer running, and it was impossible to call a taxi due to high demand and the weather. Someone wrote about it on Threads, and people went to the station at 2-3 AM to help those who arrived get home!"
