According to the forecaster, the average temperature will be 8-10 degrees below the climatic norm for January. Frosts will intensify, and the situation will be worsened by gusty winds and high humidity, making the cold feel particularly strong.
The beginning of the week will be associated with the arrival of Arctic air. Locally, light, short-term snow, light black ice, and icy roads are possible. At night, the temperature will drop to -13…-20 degrees, and with clearings, to -23…-27. In the middle of the week, the weather will not change significantly: a cold anticyclone from Scandinavia will influence Belarus. It will bring variable cloudiness, black ice, and possibly light snow. The wind will remain easterly and north-easterly, gusty. On Wednesday night, -17…-25 degrees are forecast, and during the day, from -6 to -13 degrees.
In the second half of the week, the influence of cold and humid northern air will persist in most regions without significant precipitation. Light fog, black ice, and slippery roads are expected. At night, the temperature will again be within -17…-25, but in the west, it will get warmer — from 0 to -7. During the day on January 15, from +1 in Brest to -16 in Vitsebsk, and on January 16, from +1 in the southwest to -20 in the northeast.

Short-term snow is possible, and fog in the morning. At night, -6…-12 degrees are expected, during the day on January 17, from +1 in Brest to -14 in Vitsebsk, and on January 18, from +1 in the southwestern regions to -10 in the northeastern regions.
