A procession took place in Mogilev to the site of mass repressions of the 1930s — with an icon of the Russian Tsar and an imperial tricolor
About 150 people took part in yesterday's action — activists of the parish of the Orthodox Church of the Royal Martyrs, New Martyrs and Confessors of the XX century of the Russian Orthodox Church, who venerate the family of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II.

The police did not interfere with the event in honor of the Council of New Martyrs of the Russian Church, writes Mayday.team.
After the liturgy in memory of the members of Nicholas II's family, shot by the Bolsheviks after the tsar's abdication from the throne on the way from Mogilev to St. Petersburg, the column left Gorky Park in the city center and, despite quite strong frost, marched through the entire city. During the procession, participants sang Christian hymns.

The participants of the action carried several icons depicting the tsar and his family. Among the Orthodox symbolism, a Russian imperial black-yellow-white flag with a two-headed eagle was noticed.
Another short requiem service took place at the site of mass executions near the quarry near the "Myasokombinat" stop on Dzimitraŭ Avenue. The first political victims in this place were an Orthodox priest and several Catholic priests.
