Vitebsk paratroopers made a forced march to the Ukrainian border. Where exactly?
Belarusian state media reported that on February 11, as part of a "sudden inspection" in the Armed Forces, a 360 km forced march was carried out "near the southern borders". It took place "under conditions of exposure to a simulated enemy: a reconnaissance and sabotage group, unmanned aerial vehicles." "Flagshtok" found out where exactly this forced march was directed.

Images from official sources show at least two armored personnel carriers without identification marks and traces of prolonged movement on the highway. Personnel are in winter camouflage suits with red and green identification armbands.
It is specified that servicemen of the 103rd Vitebsk Airborne Brigade, a duty unit from the Rapid Reaction Forces, carried out a forced march to the designated area in the southeast of the country.
The specific location was hidden, but "Flagshtok" identified it. It is a fortified training area in the Gomel district, known as the "Khrenin Line". It is verified with the help of photographs.
The published photos of a shelter for armored vehicles, cubes for creating fortifications, an asphalt highway, a line of anti-tank concrete pyramids against the backdrop of a mixed forest and power lines – all this is present in the fortified training area near the village of Kalinina in the Gomel district. There is no information about the existence of other similar fortifications in the region.
The arrival location of the equipment is also indirectly confirmed by the fact that the author of the published photos is Sergey Kholodilin, BelTA's own correspondent in Gomel.

The task of the servicemen was to "strengthen a section of the state border of the Republic of Belarus in the southern part." According to the main idea, a simulated enemy makes a breakthrough of the state border using armored vehicles. In accordance with the legend, the duty unit timely detected and neutralized the enemy, preventing its breakthrough deep into the country.
It is characteristic that servicemen of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus have been performing tasks to guard the former military airfield Zyabrovka in a rotation format since 2022. Russian air defense forces are stationed at this facility. The airfield is located approximately 10 kilometers from the so-called "Khrenin Line."
