A Belarusian assault rifle is planned for serial production by the end of the year
The VSK-100 assault rifle is planned to be launched into serial production in Belarus by the end of 2026. This was reported by State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich in an interview with the "First Information" channel.

According to Volfovich, the VSK-100 is a modern Belarusian assault rifle with 100% localization. After its launch into mass production, it is intended to be supplied to the Armed Forces and other security agencies.

According to TASS, the VSK-100 assault rifle is similar in size to the AK-74: length — 915 mm, height — 265 mm, width — 6.5 mm. Weight without magazine — 4.3 kg. The assault rifle is designed for 7.62×39 mm caliber cartridges, the magazine holds 30 rounds. Firing mode — single shot or automatic, locking type — rotary, mechanism with a side gas piston.

Production of the VSK-100 is carried out at the enterprises of "BSVT — New Technologies" in Stankovo.
