Hackers breached betting site — data of thousands of Belarusians leaked
A large-scale leak occurred on the Maxbet online casino website: hackers stole personal data of about 10 thousand people. Now fraudsters have clients' names, phone numbers, and email addresses.
The National Cybersecurity Center announced a high-level incident on the resource of Maxbet-M LLC.
As a result of unauthorized access to the information infrastructure, personal data of about 10 thousand citizens was leaked.
The perpetrators gained access to clients' surnames, names, dates of birth, email addresses, and phone numbers, as well as information about their place of residence.
Due to the scale of the problem, the operation of the maxbet.by website has been suspended «until the causes of the incident are fully eliminated».
