It is reported that the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in connection with the incident in Nakhchivan, expressed concern about the escalation in the Middle East, noting the high risks of further expansion of the conflict and the involvement of third countries.
He expressed sincere support to the leadership of Azerbaijan and the friendly Azerbaijani people.
The head of Azerbaijan's foreign ministry, in turn, informed about the development of the situation in the region, the consequences of the drone attack, and the actions taken by the Azerbaijani side.
Yesterday, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stated that Iran had sent four drones to Nakhchivan. Among the targets was a school, which the drone attempted to strike during classes. According to official information, the strike on the building did not occur: the device fell and exploded directly near the school.
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev called the incident a terrorist act and instructed the military to be ready for retaliatory measures.
