Uitkoff Insistently Asked Russia Not to Provide Intelligence to Iran
US President Donald Trump's special envoy Stephen Uitkoff appealed to Russia with a request not to transfer intelligence data to Iran which could be used for strikes against American servicemen. He informed journalists about this aboard the presidential plane on the night of March 8. Uitkoff emphasized that he expressed this request very insistently, however, he did not disclose details of the conversation, according to The Moscow Times.

Donald Trump himself, commenting on Russia's possible assistance to Iran, said that he does not know if the US has evidence of such cooperation. At the same time, he stated that even if information is being transferred, it does not bring significant benefit to Iran. Trump noted that after the events of the last week, Iran's military potential has been significantly weakened. He also added that the US armed forces are the strongest in the world.
Earlier, information appeared in American media, citing sources, that Russia allegedly transfers data to Iran about the location and movement of American troops, ships, and aircraft. The White House stated that even if such assistance does occur, it is not decisive and should not affect negotiations on the Ukrainian issue. A similar position was expressed by Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, noting that Russia's alleged support for Iran does not cause particular concern in Washington.
