Former soloist of "Pesnyary" moved to a village and works as a school teacher of chemistry and biology
Now the household has five cats and a dog, with plans for chickens, goats, and even ten cows.
Aliaksandr Zaŭharodni previously sang in "Pesnyary" and "Verasy-2007". A year ago, he moved from Minsk to the village of Nyavyaztsy in Slutsk district. He is a city dweller himself: born in Baranavichy, he lived in Poland and Germany in his childhood, where his military father served, and then in Minsk. He had no village experience in his childhood, but he dreamed of his own house on land from a young age, writes "Minskaya Prauda".
In 2003, 16-year-old Aliaksandr was noticed by Leanid Bartkevich, and the young man became the youngest vocalist in the history of "Pesnyary". In 2007, he passed an audition for the revived "Verasy" by Vasil Rainchyk, but ultimately chose a solo career.
In addition, Aliaksandr received three higher education degrees and worked as an educator.
He met his wife Alesia, a physical education and labor training teacher, at a children's camp where he was the head. They have been together for four years, married for one. They got married between lessons: they had a 15-minute break for everything, the bride came in a hoodie and leggings, because she had a teachers' cross-country race after class.
The husband and wife address each other formally ('Vy'): that's how they got used to it at work.
The couple chose the house in Nyavyaztsy in 15 minutes, upon seeing the birches on the plot. No one had lived there for five years, and 30 ares were overgrown with weeds, turning almost into a thicket. Now they are restoring the house themselves in a "let it be" style. They plan an attic with a bedroom and a kitchen-living room with a panoramic window. Now the household has five cats and a dog, and plans include chickens, goats, and even ten cows.
Aliaksandr teaches chemistry and biology at Ramanava Secondary School and is very satisfied with the village school. Alesia currently lives in two places, as her 16-year-old daughter, who did not want to move, studies in Minsk. Alesia also teaches several hours of labor training at the same school.
Aliaksandr has not abandoned music: at home, he writes and arranges songs, hosts broadcasts, dreams of a studio on his plot, and is preparing a big concert in Slutsk in the spring.
