Alexander Bastrykin, head of Russia's Investigative Committee, called for a check of Grigory Oster's famous children's book "Bad Advice" for "questionable directives from a pedagogical point of view."
The Investigative Committee reported that children's literature was discussed at the meeting:
"Works by G. Oster, which, according to the participants, contain questionable directives from a pedagogical point of view, were cited as a negative example. In this regard, the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee instructed to conduct a check of the books by the mentioned author."
The book contains humorous advice on how to behave, but in reverse.
«Никогда не мойте руки,
Шею, уши и лицо.
Это глупое занятье
Не приводит ни к чему.
Вновь испачкаются руки,
Шея, уши и лицо,
Так зачем же тратить силы,
Время попусту терять».
In 2022, Oster spoke out against the war in Ukraine and moved to Latvia.
At the meeting of the Investigative Committee, it was also proposed to involve soldiers who fought against Ukraine in the education and upbringing of children. To this end, they want to introduce quotas for "SMO" veterans to receive pedagogical education.
