Bus at Chavusy bus station drove off by itself and ran over elderly couple
The driver went to mark the route sheet without turning off the engine.

When the bus arrived at the Chavusy bus station — which is a district center in the Mogilev region — its driver closed the doors and went towards the station building.
At some point, the bus started rolling towards the trade pavilions. A husband and wife (70 and 66 years old) were walking there at that very moment. They died.
The bus driver tried to prevent its movement but was too late. The bus collided with a passenger car and only then stopped.
The driver explained to investigators that he went into the bus station building to sign off the route sheet without turning off the engine. It is known that the driver is 41 years old. He will face imprisonment for the death of the people.
