"Why do I constantly have to look at my watch?" Belarusians shocked by rules in some Minsk restaurants
Minsk is discussing a new rule in some restaurants, especially those serving national cuisine – time limits for guests. People complain that they are only given about two hours for dinner, especially during peak hours, for example, on Friday evenings, writes Tochka.by.

The story began with a girl who wanted to book a table for a company of seven people. In several establishments, particularly "Litviny" and "Bulbashy", she was told that the table is given for a maximum of two hours: for example, from 18:30 to 20:30. At the same time, dishes can take up to 30 minutes to prepare, and advance ordering is not provided.
This outraged her because she wanted not just to eat, but to spend time peacefully with friends. According to the girl, such restrictions force you to constantly check the time and spoil the atmosphere of relaxation.
"I come not only to eat, but also to communicate and have a good time in the company of people I haven't seen for a long time. Why the hell do I have to be nervous and constantly look at my watch to stay within the limit? This isn't, damn it, sipping coffee with dessert for 2 hours, come on. In short, I'm stunned," the client expressed.
In the comments, many supported her and said that they also encountered this. Some consider such rules illegal. One user reported that he contacted the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MARG), after which a check was carried out, and some restaurants received fines for violating trade rules.
However, there are also those who are calmer about this. They believe that restaurants introduce such restrictions due to the large flow of visitors, including tourists from Russia, in order to serve more people.
As a result, the girl's company found a restaurant without a time limit. And the discussion on social networks also turned into a list of establishments where one can go without such rules.
