As of early 2026, there were 65.2 thousand retail outlets in Belarus. Over 10 years, their number increased by 21%, reported the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.

Retail trade is developing most rapidly in Minsk: in the capital, the number of retail outlets increased by 61% over 10 years. Now there are more than 12 thousand of them here.
The Mogilev region developed least dynamically, where the increase in the number of stores over 10 years was 4% (7.2 thousand facilities by the end of 2025).
Over 10 years, new players also appeared on the market, while some chains ceased to exist. Among them are Bigzz, Rublyovsky, Vitalyur, Domashny, Preston.
Here is how the top 10 chains in Belarus by number of stores look like based on 2025 results:
- Belkoopsayuz — 4141 stores;
- Euroopt — 1151 stores. The chain develops the brands Euroopt, Hit!, and Groshyk;
- Dabranom — 1067 stores. Includes the brands Mayak and Kopeecka;
- Santa — 276 stores;
- Susiedzi — 289 stores;
- 7 Fridays — 256 stores;
- Svetofor — 221 stores;
- Hippo — 89 stores. Includes the brands Hippo and Belmarket;
- Korona — 61 stores;
- Green — 39 stores.
If we look at market share, the first place belongs to Euroopt.
