Inscription "Flourish, native Belarus" being dismantled on a Minsk avenue
The famous inscription "Flourish, native Belarus" on house No. 133 on Nezavisimosti Avenue in Minsk has begun to be dismantled, writes Blizko.by.
The building has been undergoing major renovations since spring, and the dismantling of the letters is apparently related to this work. As of August 24, the first word — "Квітней" (Flourish) — has been almost completely removed from the facade, with only the letter "й" remaining.
The courtyard facade of the house has already been painted in a creamy white color. The street facade is only partially updated so far — work has been done on the right side. It is also visible that the section of the wall under the word "Беларусь" (Belarus) has already been painted.
The inscription "Flourish, native Belarus" appeared on the facade of the house more than 15 years ago and has since become one of the prominent details of Nezavisimosti Avenue.
