Drone entered Brest region over the weekend and headed towards the Polish border
New cases of Belarusian airspace violation during Russian attacks were recorded by "Flagpole" on October 18-19. This time, drones flew not only into the Gomel region but also into the Brest region.
Around 02:30 on October 18, the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Rynda Monitorit" reported the movement of an unidentified drone near the village of Rostań in the Kovel district of the Volyn region.
Just a few minutes later, it was heading towards the village of Prybarava in the Brest region — which is very close to the Polish border.
The channel noted that it is not yet precisely known from which country this drone was launched.
On the same day at 08:50, another drone flew its usual route through the Gomel region and headed towards Chernobyl. Another one followed the same trajectory around 21:00.
On October 19, at approximately 04:10, a jet drone flew over Gomel. It was launched from the Bryansk region and then flew into Ukraine, the monitoring channel "eRadar" informed "Flagpole".
According to the "Rynda Monitorit" channel, this drone flew over the Rechytsa and Loevsky districts (villages of Prakisel and Kolpen), heading towards Liubech in the Chernihiv region.
Thus, according to currently available data, at least four drones violated Belarusian airspace on October 18-19.
Meanwhile, Russian drones continue to move daily along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, using it as cover and likely "catching" signals from Belarusian mobile operator stations.
Residents of the Gomel border region regularly hear sounds of explosions. It is probable that Ukrainian military personnel manage to shoot down some of the drones in this area, and the sounds of explosions come from the neighboring territory. Sometimes these sounds are very loud.
