A Gomel Woman Received One Dollar From a Guest at Her Wedding
The newlyweds found out about the surprise in the envelope the day after the ceremony.

"Someone partied at the wedding for one dollar. I hope everything was delicious and everyone liked it," the girl told Myfin with a smile.
In September, the girl got married. The newlyweds received gift envelopes during an off-site ceremony, not in a restaurant. The bride herself didn't see who was giving what: the box for envelopes was with her sister.
The newlyweds only got to the contents of the envelopes the next day. Among the gifts, that very dollar was found.
The girl admits that she is not offended by the giver. Moreover, she has a guess who might have put such a bill, but she is not going to sort out the relationship.
"The main thing is that the envelope was not empty. I've heard such stories too," says the Gomel resident.
For her, the wedding itself is more important than the contents of the envelopes. And she decided to take the dollar with humor.
"Maybe the person wanted to be creative: to put a hundred-dollar bill and another one, for a dollar. And then forgot about the hundred," the bride ironizes.
