The story attracted attention due to the parallel with Auzière's mother's personal life. Brigitte Macron is 24 years older than her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron. In her daughter's case, the difference is also significant: Tiphaine is 20 years older than her partner.
At the end of August, Emmanuel Macron's stepdaughter shared photos from a trip to Amsterdam with Antoine Lecomte on social media. The young man also published photos and videos of them together.
According to Gala magazine, they met during a vacation in Le Touquet — a French resort town where the Macron family has a house.
An acquaintance of the couple drew an even more direct parallel between Tiphaine and her mother: "Like Brigitte, she only listens to her heart and doesn't pay attention to what others think."
Antoine Lecomte hails from Lille, studies at the French business school NEOMA, and is passionate about kitesurfing. He also founded the brand Mission Kiteboarding, which deals with equipment for this sport.
Tiphaine Auzière works as a lawyer, has her own law firm in Paris, and in 2024 also published her first novel Assises ("Court of Assizes").
According to French media, one of the couple's shared interests is entrepreneurship. Auzière and Lecomte are discussing joint professional projects, and the lawyer is reportedly going to accompany him to Asia, where the young man is developing his business.
