The Second Part of Arlou's "Names of Freedom" is Coming Out
The second part of Uladzimir Arlou's peculiar author's encyclopedia of love for the homeland, freedom, and independence, titled "Names of Freedom," will soon be released.
The first volume, which included 410 historical portraits from the times of Tadevuš Rejtan and Tadevuš Kaściuška, was released in April, writes bellit.info.
«Who are they — the people who for more than two centuries fought for the freedom and independence of our lands? These are hundreds of destinies, hundreds of stories, hundreds of names that are worth knowing and remembering. Lively, engaging, and in his unique essayistic manner, Uladzimir Arlou creates a true author's encyclopedia of Belarusian freedom — full of little-known facts, unexpected discoveries, and apt observations», — states the annotation.
This book is about those thanks to whom Belarus remained Belarus.
The book can be ordered on the Kamunikat.shop website or purchased in bookstores in Białystok at the Belarusian Culture Center (ul. Warszawska 1A) and in Warsaw at: ul. Oleandrów 6/2; metro Politechnika.
