The State Control Committee of Brest region checked several cafes in Brest and found violations.

In some establishments, cakes, desserts, and other ready-made culinary products were sold without documents confirming their quality and safety. Over 10 kilograms of such products were removed from sale.
In addition, controllers found cases of selling already opened concentrates and syrups without indicating the date of opening the package. This is important because the shelf life of such products shortens after opening the package.

The cafes also used and sold coffee beans with unified marks, information about which was missing from the commodity labeling information system. The circulation of such products is prohibited in Belarus.
After the inspections, the owners of the establishments took the necessary measures to eliminate the identified violations and restore order.
