Masked armed men forcibly drove migrants from Belarus to Latvia, crossed the border, and stole cameras
This week, armed and aggressive masked individuals from Belarus attempted to move a group of illegal migrants into Latvia. This was reported by the National Armed Forces of Latvia, according to Delfi.lv.

According to Latvian servicemen, a group of at least 20 migrants, led by masked individuals, attempted to illegally cross the Belarusian-Latvian border. Latvian servicemen stopped the attempt.
The Latvian army noted that, compared to many previous similar incidents, this time the actions were particularly demonstrative and aggressive. The individuals accompanying the migrants were armed, threatened Latvian servicemen, and actively pushed and drove the migrants towards Latvian territory.
Several hours after this incident, the masked individuals themselves infiltrated Latvian territory. According to Interior Minister Jānis Dombrava, they damaged an electrical distribution box and stole surveillance cameras. Before the arrival of a unit of Latvian border guards, the trespassers managed to return to Belarusian territory.
Dombrava stated that Belarus should consider that similar incidents could lead to more serious consequences for Belarus itself.
