In Greece, a 44-year-old woman who spent 20 hours at sea was rescued
The Greek Coast Guard reported that a 44-year-old Salvadoran citizen, who allegedly jumped from a cruise ship into the Ionian Sea, was found and rescued after 20 hours in the water, writes Euronews.

The incident occurred on the morning of October 9, when the cruise ship Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas was located southwest of the Greek island of Zakynthos. A Coast Guard representative told AFP that the woman explained her action as a desire to "go ashore."
During the search operation, an overturned round life buoy was initially found. On Sunday morning, the cargo ship MSC Rossella III, flying the flag of Madeira Island and participating in the search, spotted a woman inside this buoy. She was conscious.
Subsequently, the woman was lifted aboard a search and rescue vessel, provided with first aid, and taken to the hospital.
