At Minsk National Airport, two Belavia airline flights between Minsk and Moscow were canceled amid restrictions at Moscow airports. This is evidenced by the electronic departures board of Minsk airport, as noted by Reform.news.

The arrival of flight B2958 from Moscow Domodedovo Airport, scheduled for 13:40, has been canceled, as well as the departure of flight B2957 to Domodedovo, which was supposed to leave at 10:00.
Prior to this, Moscow and the Moscow region came under attack by drones and small balloons. Residents of the southern districts of the Russian capital reported sounds of explosions and the operation of air defense systems. At all four airports of the Moscow aviation hub — Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo — the "Carpet" plan was introduced.
The day before, on October 8, a plane flying from Istanbul to Vnukovo was diverted to Minsk, using it as an alternate airfield. Rosaviatsia temporarily restricted the reception and departure of aircraft at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky. The agency explained these measures by the need to ensure flight safety.
