The Russian Foreign Minister is also confident that Volodymyr Zelensky does not need elections, as he has put forward unacceptable conditions for their conduct.

Volodymyr Zelensky, with his reaction to the diesel deal between Moscow and Washington, is issuing a direct challenge to US President Donald Trump. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to journalists in Baku, TASS reports.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Zelensky, in response, continues to ask for more weapons for strikes on Russia.
"This is a direct challenge, and a rude one, to President Trump, who actively supported this deal and repeatedly spoke publicly about it," Lavrov noted. "In my opinion, everyone already understands and fully realizes that such behavior has become commonplace for Mr. Zelensky, who believes that the whole world owes him something, while he himself is not obligated to do anything in return and is not ready to undertake any constructive actions that would be truly honest and equitable."
Sergey Lavrov is also confident that Volodymyr Zelensky does not need elections, as he has put forward unacceptable conditions for their conduct.
"Mr. Zelensky has already made it clear that he is not interested in elections, as he has set conditions for them that are unacceptable in advance," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
To the question of whether Moscow is ready to make concessions if presidential elections in Ukraine do take place, Lavrov remarked: "We will not speculate."
