A 57-year-old woman took someone else's shoes because she liked them and they fit her size. A criminal case for theft has now been initiated.
A resident of the district contacted the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital and reported the theft of sneakers from the vestibule.
The suspect turned out to be a 57-year-old Minsk resident.
According to the police, she was visiting a friend in the same building entrance. The woman had a little to drink, and when she was going down to the first floor, she noticed an open door to the vestibule. She went inside and took the sneakers.
Later, the Minsk resident explained that she liked the shoes and they fit her size. When she was invited to the police station for a talk, she came wearing those very sneakers.
