The director of the Dana Mall shopping center will be tried for the injury of a 17-year-old girl, on whom snow was thrown from the roof
The worker who threw the snow has already been sentenced.

The incident occurred in January 2026 near the service exit of Minsk's Dana Mall. Snow was thrown from the roof onto a 17-year-old girl, who was hospitalized with severe injuries.
According to the investigation, the 33-year-old director was responsible for the safe execution of works. However, he allowed a third-party organization, which was engaged in advertising development, to clean the roof. The work permit required for such tasks was not issued.
Four unofficially employed men were clearing the snow. They had not received instructions. One of the workers, a 53-year-old foreigner, threw snow from the roof without ensuring that there were no people below.
The investigation believes that the director failed to ensure the safety of the adjacent territory. He was charged with official negligence, which inadvertently led to severe consequences. The pre-trial detention measure is bail.
The worker who threw the snow has already been sentenced: for causing grievous bodily harm by negligence, he was punished with three months of arrest.
