"Until we meet again, our sweet boy. We will love you forever." Cindy Crawford speaks out for the first time about her son's death
Supermodel Cindy Crawford has publicly spoken for the first time about the death of her son, Presley Gerber.

Gerber, 27, died on September 20 at a rehabilitation center in California, writes the BBC.
"He is a sweet, beautiful soul who was loved and is loved — now and forever," Cindy Crawford wrote on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo of her son.
"We are so proud of how he lived his life — with kindness and openness."
Gerber died on September 20 at a rehabilitation center in California. Police reported that an overdose is being investigated as a possible cause of death.
Gerber was a model, like his mother and younger sister Kaia. His runway debut came at age 16, when he participated in a show for the Italian brand Moschino. He appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana, and in 2018, he appeared with his mother in a Pepsi commercial. His father, Rande Gerber, is a businessman who co-founded the Casamigos tequila brand with George Clooney.
"We are blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years," Crawford wrote. "We are grateful for the immense love and support from so many people who know and love our family, and also from strangers who share our grief."
"Until we meet again, our sweet boy. We will love you forever— Mom, Dad, and Kaia," she concluded.
Gerber's sister, Kaia, also dedicated a post to him on Sunday. She shared a video of them dancing together as children, a photo of them standing by the ocean, and a four-page letter.
"I'm learning to love you when I can't see you. Learning to talk to you without reaching for the phone to call. Learning to be your sister in a world where I can't reach you," she wrote.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office classifies Gerber's case as requiring further investigation. Meanwhile, the Santa Monica Police Department stated there were no signs that the death resulted from criminal activity.
In recent years, Gerber had openly discussed his mental health struggles and drug use, and posted videos on Instagram he called "Mental Health Mondays."
