U.S. Embassy in Moscow Warned of Terrorist Attack Threat in a Russian Museum. This Also Happened Before "Crocus".
The U.S. Embassy in Moscow warned of a threat of an incident with a large number of casualties on the territory of the "Tsaritsyno" Museum-Reserve. American diplomats learned about the probable threat of such an incident on October 31.

The U.S. government is coordinating response measures with the relevant Russian state authorities.
The Embassy recommended that U.S. citizens not visit the museum on October 31 and stay away from the area, remain vigilant, and avoid crowded places. They were also advised to monitor the surrounding situation and local media reports, review their personal security plan, keep their mobile phone charged, and carry identification documents. Additionally, Americans were encouraged to register for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive security and health threat notifications.
Russian authorities and the Moscow administration have not yet commented on this warning.
It is worth noting that a similar warning was issued by the U.S. Embassy in March 2024, before the well-known bloody terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast. The warning was issued on March 7, and the attack occurred on the evening of March 22.
