The new roof of the Gorvatov Palace in Narovlya is now complete. The building is now saved.
The owner of the palace, Piotr Kuznetsov, who is managing the restoration work in Narovlya, shared this news, writes the "Strong News" publication.

The Gorvat Palace in Narovlya became private property in 2020. At that time, it was on the list of historical and cultural heritage sites that were rapidly at risk of disappearing from the map of Belarus. The building was bought for 53 thousand rubles to save it from destruction. This required rebuilding the roof, as the old one was completely destroyed and no longer protected the palace from precipitation.
From 2020 to 2024, work was carried out to clear the building of collapsed floors, debris, and vegetation. Simultaneously, work was underway to create a restoration project and its approval by all the necessary authorities.
Construction of the new roof began in 2024, approximately one year before the expiration of the terms of the palace's purchase agreement. In November, the agreement was extended for another 3 years.
Yesterday it finally became known that the new roof is 100% complete. This means that the building has been saved. Nevertheless, there is still a lot of work ahead, and support for the project is still very relevant.

Смотря какая поддержка. Одно дело вложиться в общество, которое будет потом получать прибыль и выплачивать дивиденды в соответствии со вложенными деньгами, а другое дело подарить бабки владельцам дворца, которые потом единолично будут получать прибыль
