Five for five exchange taking place on the Belarusian-Polish border
What is happening is the culmination of a complex and lengthy negotiation process between the KGB of Belarus and the Intelligence Agency of Poland, carried out on the direct instructions of Lukashenka, BelTA writes.
It is noted that negotiations began back in September 2025. The starting point for their organization was an appeal to Lukashenka by individual leaders of countries friendly to official Minsk. Lukashenka gave instructions to the State Security Committee and personally participated in discussing the details of the exchange during bilateral contacts with our allies.
As a result of the operation, ten citizens of various countries were released and given the opportunity to reunite with their families.
"Among those released are also citizens of Belarus who carried out particularly important tasks in the interests of ensuring the national security and defense capability of our country. The fate of these people at all stages of their activities is under the special control of Alexander Lukashenka," BelTA reported.
Given the personal request to Lukashenka from the mother of Andrzej Poczobut, who is serving a sentence for committing a number of particularly serious crimes, as well as Anzhelika Borys, Lukashenka instructed the KGB to include the convicted person in this exchange process.
