In "ordinary" life, Ilya was a tattoo artist from Gomel. He had moved to Poland a long time ago, but did not stand aside from the 2020 protests: he made posters, printed T-shirts with the white-red-white flag, helped organize rallies, writes Euroradio.
But "ordinary" life ended because serious heart problems began. The guy practically lived in the hospital for a year and a half. In March 2025, he underwent a transplant.
But the new heart did not take root. Ilya passed away in November. He was buried in Belarus.
