Zelenskyy: Belarus handed over five more convicted Ukrainians to Ukraine
Among the political prisoners released today in Belarus are five citizens of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to Zelenskyy, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Kyrylo Budanov, reported on the details of the preparation of a special operation to free civilians held in Belarus.
«Thanks to the active role of the United States and the cooperation of our intelligence agencies, about a hundred people are now returning to freedom, including five Ukrainians. We are helping our American partners, and Ukraine is receiving appropriate assistance. If necessary, the special services of our neighbors in Europe are involved,» Zelenskyy wrote.
He also stated that he instructed the GUR and other services to maximize efforts in the Russian direction to make the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war possible by the New Year.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenka's press service reported the release of 123 people.
